Cats and dogs

The state of Hawaii (esp. here on Kaua’i) is getting pounded with rain…I may just have to round up some animals (Kaua’i get plenty chickens) and have Noah come pick me up on his ark, nah nah. Bummers though, the ocean is all pilau and looks like chochlate milk so no surfing or diving anytime soon, but I am quite thankful for my health and safety considering what some others are going through.

When I was home for the President’s Day weekend, I learned the art of Gyotaku. People normally do fish, and I printed a mempachi, but didn’t get a chance to paint it. I did get to do a tako though, its pretty fun stuff, and takes a lot longer than you think. Now its framed, dated, signed and on my wall….
